A delicious and easy recipe for Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage, perfect for a comforting meal.

- 2 lbs baby potatoes, halved (or diced Yukon Gold)
- 12–14 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt (ranch seasoning already has salt)
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (mild or sharp)
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional for extra melt)
- ¼ cup sour cream (optional, for creaminess)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash baby potatoes and cut into halves or quarters. Place potatoes into a large bowl.
- Add olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and salt (if needed). Mix well until all potatoes are evenly coated.
- Add the sliced smoked sausage to the bowl and toss everything together.
- Spread the mixture onto a greased baking dish or sheet pan. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove foil, stir, then bake 15–20 minutes more until potatoes are soft and lightly golden.
- Sprinkle cheddar + mozzarella evenly over the hot potatoes. Add spoonfuls of sour cream on top (optional). Return to oven for 5–7 minutes until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve warm!
Notes
- Use fully cooked smoked sausage such as kielbasa, beef sausage, or turkey sausage.
- For crispier potatoes, broil for the last 2 minutes.
- Add sliced onions or bell peppers for extra flavor.
