Description

A deliciously gooey chocolate chip pie made with a buttery crust and rich filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ready-to-use pie crust, 9-inch
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F and gently press the pie crust into a pie dish, crimping the edges.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until glossy and smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla until the mixture looks silky.
  4. Stir in baking soda and salt, then fold in flour just until combined.
  5. Gently mix in chocolate chips like you’re tucking them into a blanket.
  6. Pour the filling into the crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 45–50 minutes until the edges are set but the center still has a soft jiggle.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing for maximum gooey magic.
