Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring ground beef cooked in a sweet and spicy hot honey sauce, served over rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked white rice (or jasmine rice)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup hot honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add soy sauce, hot honey, rice vinegar, sriracha, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until sticky and glossy.
  6. Spoon hot rice into bowls and top with hot honey beef.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm.
