- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz sturdy tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 fresh jalapeño, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 cup salsa
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow chicken to rest briefly, then shred with two forks.
- On a large baking sheet, layer tortilla chips, followed by shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and jalapeños.
- Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and melted.
- Remove from oven; drizzle with sour cream and guacamole, garnish with cilantro if desired.
