Description

A delicious and easy recipe for parmesan crusted chicken served with a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  3. In another dish, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third dish, place the flour.
  5. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  6. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  9. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  10. Add heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  11. Serve the chicken topped with the creamy garlic sauce.
